Updated: What Today’s Silver Dump Really Tells Us
Why the sharp selloff isn’t a sign of a healthy market, but a sign of stress.
Today’s silver chart takes us far beyond any idea of “normal volatility.”
What we’re seeing is a violent, almost vertical selloff in a matter of minutes — accompanied by a sudden spike in trading volume. Silver dropped nearly 3% instantly, as if someone unloaded a wall of paper contracts onto the market.
But here’s the part that matters:
Every single dump gets bought.
Every single low gets defended.
And the deeper the smash, the stronger the rebound.
This is not natural market behavior.
This is a fight.
⚔️ Identical pattern on both charts (CFDs & COMEX futures)
On both the CFD chart and the COMEX futures chart, the same pattern appears:
Slow, controlled downward pressure
A sudden, massive vertical smash
Volume explosion
Buyers stepping in immediately at the bottom
If this were real fear or a genuine liquidation, the price would fall and stay down.
But instead it bounces.
That tells us someone wants the price down,
but someone else is waiting below the market with open arms.
🚧 Why is $60 such a battlefield?
Today confirms what the last several days were already screaming:
👉 $60 isn’t just a price level — it’s a line they cannot allow to break.
Right above $60 lies:
technical breakout territory
FOMO buying
margin calls
increased demand for physical deliveries
momentum that is very hard to stop
The closer silver gets to $60, the more violent and desperate the smash attempts become.
Wednesday had four large smash attempts.
Today brought another oversized attack, even harder and more vertical.
This isn’t confidence.
It’s panic.
🌍 Paper-side panic vs. physical-side strength
While the chart shows a “panic dump,” the physical market shows the opposite:
China (SHFE) just posted the biggest weekly inflow in 6 months
India is back in backwardation — immediate demand > future supply
SLV vacuumed another ~130 tons out of LBMA vaults
EFP flipped positive — a bad sign for London
COMEX is shuffling metal between eligible/registered at high speed
These are not signs of a well-supplied physical market.
These are signs of strain.
If supply were comfortable, they wouldn’t need to throw this much paper at the chart.
📉 The smash worked — but only temporarily
Yes, the price fell sharply.
But look at what happened next:
Buyers stepped in instantly.
The rebound was immediate.
That’s the opposite of a real market liquidation, where no one wants to touch the asset.
Here, buyers are practically waiting for every engineered dip.
It’s like stretching a rubber band: the more you pull, the harder it snaps back.
So what does this tell us?
1️⃣ The manipulation is getting expensive
The volume required to push silver down is increasing.
Each smash produces less effect for more cost.
2️⃣ Real demand is alive and strong
If physical demand were fading, the price would stay down.
But it doesn’t.
It rebounds — every time.
🚀 When $60 finally breaks…
…there won’t be a slow grind upward.
No gentle price discovery.
No orderly move.
It will be a slingshot effect after months of tension.
Today’s smash isn’t a sign of strength.
It’s a sign that the paper market is barely holding the line.
And when that line gives way — the move will be nothing short of explosive.

@CollinRugg Mercy… that raccoon done lived an entire country song before sunrise. Walks into an ABC store, tears the place up like my Uncle Darryl at a two-for-one bait sale, then passes out curled up by the toilet like he paid rent there.
@bankertobuilder I think it’s gross man. Misuse of rural murica. honestly polysilicon technology doesn’t have enough bandgap efficiency. Too much is reflected or not even absorbed in the first place. If you used quantum dot tech it would be incredibly more per square meter.
