Open Window School is an independent K-8 school. Our Summer Program is open to all and runs July 6 through August 7.

This year, we had a wonderful opportunity during Summer Program to stage Frozen (kids) the musical directed by drama teacher Zoe Wilson. After 2 weeks of rehearsals, it is showtime!

Summer program students are learning traditional and contemporary music and dance from West Africa this week with the talented artists and teachers from Gansango Music & Dance.

We love having our TA's (Teacher Assistants) here in the summer! These student volunteers in 8th-12th grade spend part of their summer learning how to work with students and then get to spend time in the classroom. They are all phenomenal!

The Art of the Winds camp have been learning how to make their own paper, create a wreath out of grape vines, cordage and needle felting!

What a wonderful first week on the mountain! It was great to get summer started. We crafted, played games, learned about cultures from around the world and laughed a lot!

Rising grades 4-5 students will not want to miss this fun summer online class taught by Mr. Hollinger! A two-week Marine Biology course includes a field trip to the Seattle Aquarium.
