Often, it’s not the storm that defeats us; it’s how we respond to the storm. There is collateral damage we can avoid if we don’t add to the storm by getting bitter, giving up on dreams, losing our passion. When difficulties come, be careful what you’re telling yourself.
There are some good reasons for prosperity. It isn’t fleshy and anti-spiritual to have nice things. God originally created you to live in a beautiful garden called Eden, without the burdens of sin, sickness, or lack. That’s why people are drawn to beautiful places and things on Earth. God likes beauty and you were made in His image, so it only stands to reason that you’ll like to be surrounded by beauty as well. But the big difference is that God doesn’t count His wealth by the gold streets. He counts His wealth by the souls He possesses.
The work of the ministry is to free man from sin consciousness and make him God conscious, son conscious, victor conscious, faith conscious, love conscious.
Don’t let the devil steal your joy, because it is more important to you than you may think. Joy keeps you strong, and we all need strength. #JoyceQuote
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
There is a force breathing in your direction greater than any force trying to stop you. There’s not a giant you can’t defeat, an obstacle you can’t overcome, an addiction you can’t break. No weapon formed against you will prosper.
This is not the time to shrink back. In your DNA is the courage of Esther, the boldness of David, the faith of Abraham, the endurance of Sarah, the favor of Mary, the power of Elijah, the strength of Samson. That’s who you are: a history maker. Be strong. Be courageous. Go after what God put in your heart.
