Solid second place; couldn’t get the gyakuten through and the dealer didn’t couldn’t tenpai so it ended with me 500 points from first. Need a solid +55 to make the cut, +16.5.

Came fourth by a slim margin, but really bad fourth. Kept losing a lot of ryanmen waits, last place tsumo’d me to last, and gyakuten ryanmen got beaten by a shabo 😭. Almost certainly have to push non stop, -25.4

Final hanchan of day 1, super first place on +33.8 after 3 haneman tsumos in one hanchan. Such a close hanchan despite that!!! end of day 1

Very messed up hanchan. Dealt into two ippatsus with early suji trapped tiles, then misscored my comeback hand. Dreadful last at -34.4

So-so third place. Shimocha got 2 oyaman tsumos in E2 and toimen got riichi ippatsu pinfu dora 4. Settled for a soft third at -7.8
