One has to admit, the US played Russia like a fiddle.
The US deep state neocons exploited a dormant fascist movement in Ukraine, woke it up, spent billions on growing it into a neo-fascist weapon, for the precise purpose of creating a conflict situation between Kiev and Moscow. The US knows well the Russian hatred and loathing of fascism, so they sparked a neo-fascist movement right next door, knowing it would be deeply and fundamentally provocative.
Naturally, Russia wouldn't be able to resist such a provocation, and when it reacts, the US would then portray Russia as the bad guy. This is exactly what has happened. The biggest lie the US has told concerning this conflict is that is was "unprovoked".
The truth is the US doesn't give a rat's ass about Ukrainians, the only interest it has is exploiting them for the purpose of destabilizing Russia and overthrowing a regime that isn't obedient to Washington. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have died not in the service of Kiev and country, but in the service of Washington neocons.
Just look at how Zelensky dances for his Washington masters, you can almost see the strings from the US State Department moving his limbs. That's what Washington wants for Russia, an obedient regime they can control, so they can dismember the country and loot it clean. Russia is too big, the US can't compete with it in the long run, so it seeks to balkanize it into manageable chunks.
If the US had simply minded its own business, there would have been no awakening of the neo-fascist movement in Ukraine, and both Ukraine and Russia would have peacefully resolved their differences. But that's simply not how the US works. Its ultimate goal is to be New Rome, and its president the Emperor of Earth, and it attempts to accomplish this in any way, no matter how dirty. (It's probably no coincidence that the Capitol's architecture is highly romanized.)
Even though the US scored a hit on Russia, in the game of great power struggles, the US will ultimately lose. Most Westerners are brainwashed, they don't bother to study the full historical context of conflicts their govts get them into, they believe everything their lying idiot leaders tell them, but the non-Western world sees the truth of what is going on.
And this is how the US loses the long game. The Global Majority will build better relationships with Russia, because Russia seeks peaceful cooperation and mutually beneficial relations, not neocolonial domination and exploitation. Non-Western states are learning that getting closer to Washington only brings them death, poverty, resource exploitation and loss of sovereignty, while getting closer to Russia and China brings them infrastructure, civilization, peace and affluence.
The first step is underway, which is ditching the US dollar wherever possible, in order to reduce the risk of the Western financial system being weaponized against them, like it was against Russia. We've witnessed a multitude of evidence that the process of dumping the dollar is well underway.
Once the Golden Billion realizes the huge benefits it was getting from Russia, China and the rest of the non-Western world, and the loss of those benefits begins to impoverish them, it will be too late to reverse course and undo the damage of neo-colonialism.
The amount of resentment built up among the Global Majority against the United States and its obedient minions is going to be long lasting and deeply impactful for the West, and in the end, US plans for New Rome are going to be nothing more than a dumpster fire.
@el_samiel@Tech19594071247@BRICSinfo US who imposed tariffs. US weaponize the US dollars (cutting Russia from swift, Cuba and Venezuela). US has been in a cold war against somebody else (USSR, terror, Russia, now China) and the companies who run the state are linked with US terrorist army (Raytheon, Lockheed etc)
