Arunachal Pradesh has officially partnered with NABARD Consultancy Services Private Limited (NABCONS) to streamline the implementation of various Central Sector Schemes (CSS), state schemes and key agricultural projects across the state.

NABCONS will serve as the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture Marketing Board (APAMB) under this new pact formally signed today in my presence. The agreement was ceremonially executed between Shri S.V. Ranga Rao (General Manager, NABARD, Itanagar) and Shri Okit Palling (CEO, APAMB, GoAP), alongside the Secretary of Agriculture, Directors of Agriculture & Horticulture, and departmental officials.

With Arunachal's vast potential for agricultural diversification and value addition, NABCONS' technical expertise will greatly enhance our project planning, monitoring and execution, helping us address implementation bottlenecks and accelerate the sustainable transformation in the sector.

The initiative formalises a direct farm-to-force supply chain, linking local farmers with Army units to ensure fresh, quality supplies for troops, while boosting rural incomes and strengthening civil–military synergy.

A proud and transformative day for Arunachal Pradesh as we witness the launch of Mission Arun Himveer and the signing of a historic MoU between the ITBP and Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture Marketing Board (APAMB)!

Earlier, due to the lack of market linkages, our hardworking farmers often faced challenges in selling their produce, leading to discouragement and wastage. But why look outside the state for markets when we have the robust presence of armed forces like ITBP within?

AP Agriculture Marketing Board signed an MoU for sale of 5000 MT ginger worth 35 crores with an exporter RC Roy Associates today. All senior officers including Advisor Talem Taboh, MLA were present during signing of the MoU. My best wishes to both the buyer and board!
