@Exiled_God_@the_fem_tm Status gives men the opening/intro, loyalty amid a status drop isn't guaranteed. E.g. women dumping a "dead-beat" man who no longer works.
@MacLeodLisa From an article I read about the 2023 hostage posters being torn down, the people doing this seem to think it takes attention away from themselves/their own causes.
@Archer_forever@TrendPolCa There's a trade-off between speed and accuracy. If you do it as fast as the States does you get mistakes. I'd like to think Carney is being a bit more careful.
@GerryPg1750@margssister@nationalpost And if trust plays a role? I've gotten a comp sci job with barely a comp sci background cause my boss TRUSTED me over a random applicant, as I'd worked for her before. I wasn't the most qualified candidate and she expected me to learn on the job.
@hashjenni "Our ancestors" key point.
The ones who were depressed, anxious and ADHD who couldn't manage their symptoms died.
My dad told me one of his brothers divorced his wife because she had (what is very clear to me) post-partum depression. Not like they knew exactly what it was then.
@Eric_OTooleMP@l_stone Alright believe the reddit post. If that was true the other three candidates would have brought it up wouldn't they?
The OLP ran it fine and there was no mass of brown people pressuring the line. Nate, Qadira, Hafiz and Mamuda all introduced themselves to each person in line.
@Eric_OTooleMP@l_stone I was there, this didn't happen at all. The line was smooth, the entrance of the door was fine, no one was cutting the line. This person wasn't there at all.
I did feel a little pressured by one person total for Hafiz, but that person doing it was white.
