Alpha locking, blending modes, and photobashing are completely different from typing words on a keyboard to get a computer’s vague noisy interpretation of your request.
Digital art programs were not created as a replacements for traditional. Obviously some skills carry over, but it’s a separate medium with its own techniques, methods, strengths, and weaknesses. You clearly have no experience with either medium. Also woodworking and glassblowing are crafts.

Obviously I was being a bit disingenuous but I’ve used ai enough to know that the result will never be the same as if I just draw or model it.
Also, this thread should have made it evident by now, but typing lots of words is actually not a big deal and can be done quite quickly.
Another thing that people take for granted that is also really important is development your own style, which is really difficult, if not impossible to truly do with ai.

you do realize the photobashed eyes are only a small part of this drawing, right? It's not like the entire drawing was made from just setting a few blending layers because that's not how that works. It still is not the same as generating a full image from a prompt. Not only that, but this is a watered down surface-level gimmicky version of photobashing that is not an accurate representation of how it's actually used. Also yeah as I said before, digital and traditional painting are quite different technique-wise. Restating what i said pejoratively does not refute it.
