Today we used inferencing and a mentor text to determine what we need to write an essay, and we composed an entire essay as a class in 13.5 minutes using the boxes and bullets strategy! Students can also define a “thesis statement” to impress their families at home :)
Some days we stick to the plan - other days we get off on a tangent and watch a compilation video of cats that are scared of cucumbers : ) I love laughing together!
