Checking on our water transportation experiments from #scienceweek. We were really impressed to see that the water cress had absorbed all of the red liquid into its roots and stems. How impressive! #oakfieldscience
How focussed are Y4? In English, for science week, Year 4 have designed their own planting and gardening robots and have made adverts to inform people about their inventions. We have automatic lawn feeders, plant cutters and even a robotic scarecrow! #oakfieldscience#scienceweek
Kicking off science week by carrying out an experiment to investigate water transportation in plants. We have put celery, watercress and white flowers in water with red and blue ink. We will report our findings at the end of the week! #oakfieldscience#scienceweek
