Our traditional Christmas Lunch is a wonderful opportunity for students from all tutor groups to enjoy delicious food, lots of fun, and festive cheer.

As we journey through Advent, a time of reflection and renewal, the opportunity for Reconciliation (also known as Confession) draws closer.

The Oaklands community have been taking time today to seek forgiveness and enter the festive  season with a cleansed heart.

Our Sixth Formers got into the festive spirit yesterday with a special Christmas lunch! From delicious food to cheerful company, it was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.

Our Year 10 students enjoyed building colorimeters to explore the concentration of different solutions during STEM Day today!

It was an excellent way for them to mix their physics and chemistry knowledge while designing and creating circuits to measure solution concentrations.

Student leadership plays a vital role in shaping our Oaklands community & supporting our Catholic ethos. We are delighted to introduce our new Sixth Form student leaders who will be leading assemblies this week to introduce themselves. Congratulations to each of our new leaders!

Earlier this week, we welcomed some helpers from St Peter's Catholic Primary School who helped load the Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes into delivery vehicles.

Winter/Christmas 2025 HAF sessions will be available to view and book from Monday 10 November. Children eligible for benefit-related free school meals (FSM) can register, book and attend sessions for free.

Our GCSE Drama students visited the Mayflower theatre in Southampton to watch @222aghoststory. 
Trips like this are vital in helping students to deepen their understanding of performance techniques and stagecraft while experiencing professional theatre first-hand.

Our Year 11 basketball team had an incredible summer in Romania! 🏀 Training with CSO Voluntari, exploring Bucharest and climbing the Alps in Brasov, and experiencing Romanian cultural and religious customs.

Yesterday, the school observed a two-minute silence for Remembrance Day. Students also attended remembrance assemblies last week and many have shared messages in our remembrance display.
