Over 10 years of supporting the Nigerian Government to accelerate the Sustainable Development Goals by empowering children through education and advocacy.
Think of impact like a puzzle
No single piece can complete the picture alone.
That’s why partnerships matter.
Sustainable Development Goal 17 (SDG 17) highlights the importance of collaboration in solving global challenges and creating lasting impact.
Oando Foundation believes sustainable progress in education is only possible when governments, communities, development organizations, and the private sector work together.
Through partnerships, stronger education systems can be built, innovative solutions can scale, and more children can access quality learning opportunities across Nigeria.
Because meaningful change is never achieved alone.

As we mark this special occasion, we reflect on the values of sacrifice, faith, and shared responsibility. May this season bring peace, renewed hope, and lasting blessings to our communities.
This Children's Day is a reminder of the fragility of childhood and the urgent responsibility we all share in protecting it. Every child deserves to learn in safety, free from fear, and supported by systems that safeguard their well-being. We stand in solidarity with affected families and reaffirm our commitment to support government's efforts in strengthening safe learning environments across schools.
Happy Children's Day.

We have spent the last few days at the Basic Education in Nigeria Bootcamp (BEN-B) redefining what is possible through collective action.
The consensus is clear: strengthening our education system requires alignment, data-driven planning, and a deep commitment to learning outcomes.
Thank you to our government partners and fellow stakeholders for the shared vision. We are ready to turn these commitments into measurable impact across the communities we serve.
The work continues. The future of our learners remain the priority.

Progress begins with people who show up every day to educate, guide, and inspire.
At Oando Foundation, we celebrate everyone working to create opportunity and drive change, across every role and sector.
Happy Workers’ Day!
By age 10, a child should transition from "learning to read" to "reading to learn." When foundational literacy and numeracy are missing, every other lesson becomes a mountain to climb.
We are moving beyond the metric of school attendance to focusing on actual learning outcomes. By strengthening early-grade education, we aren’t just improving test scores, we are building the foundation for a more literate, capable, and resilient Nigeria.
Foundational learning today. Transformation tomorrow.
What happens when girls step into AI and STEM? The future expands.
This International Girls in ICT Day, themed “AI for Development: Girls Shaping the Digital Future”, celebrates girls who are not just engaging with technology, but redefining what it can do.
At Oando Foundation, through our Digital Literacy and School STEAM projects, we are expanding access to digital learning opportunities that empower girls to build ideas, solve real-world problems, and step confidently into spaces where innovation thrives. Every skill gained contributes to a more inclusive, resilient, and forward-looking future.
We remain committed to creating pathways for more girls to lead, innovate, and shape what comes next.

A single book can change how a child sees the world.
We celebrate the stories, ideas, and knowledge that bring learning to life. Books do more than teach - they spark imagination, build confidence, and open up new possibilities.
Behind every page are authors and creators whose work continues to shape minds and make learning meaningful for generations.
Let us keep the pages turning and the love for reading growing.
Let’s build a reading list in the comments:
