It was an honour to welcome Honourable Ministers @senlokpobiri@Ekperikpe001, NNPC leadership @BBOjulari and the Special Adviser on energy to the President @OluVerheijen, to the @oando_plc booth on Day 1 of the @nogenergyweek strategic conference and to share our ambitions, particularly the role we believe gas must play in Nigeria’s next phase of growth.
Our booth tells the Oando story - from where we’ve come from to where we’re going. As always, the #HumansOfOando turned it into an experience, bringing that journey to life for everyone who walked through it.
It’s a reminder that companies don’t build themselves. Their stories are written by people who are willing to think differently, embrace change and do the work of building what comes next.
Oando believes that doing business sustainably is essential, not optional.

2025 marked our first full year of operational execution following the acquisition of the NAOC Joint Venture assets. Having successfully completed the integration phase, our focus shifted to operatorship, operational excellence, and value realisation across the enlarged portfolio.
During the year, we strengthened asset integrity, enhanced security across our operating areas, and improved uptime, resulting in a 32% year-on-year increase in production to 32,482 boepd net to Oando. This performance was driven by stronger output across crude oil, gas, and NGLs, improved operational reliability, and the successful stabilisation of our expanded asset base.
A key highlight of the year was the successful completion and start-up of the Obiafu-44 gas-condensate well, our first operated development well following the assumption of operatorship.
Our focus remains on executing our development programme, growing production, strengthening cash generation, prudent capital allocation, and delivering sustainable long-term value for our shareholders.

I hear it's my birthday today.
Another year older. I am told that also means wiser. The jury is still out, but I am grateful for the opportunity to keep making the case.
There is something humbling about a birthday. Not the number, but the people around you. The way they show up, reach out, and remind you that the relationships you have built over a lifetime are worth far more than anything that can be measured on a balance sheet.
To everyone who reached out, thank you.
May Allah grant you peace, good health, and open doors in every direction you turn.
Thank you all.
