I will not stand before you and declare the work finished, because it is not. The housing deficit this nation carries is counted in the millions, and it will take years of steady labour to close, and I would rather say that to you plainly than flatter you with a lie.
But the difference now is real. For the first time in a generation, the whole housing value-chain is moving together: the land and its title, the building, the materials, the equipment, the finance, and the family at the end of it, and no part waits idle on another.
Housing has moved from a welfare conversation to a national growth strategy. Real estate and construction now sit among Nigeria’s major GDP contributors, proving that every affordable home financed is also a factory order, a labour contract, a mortgage asset, a household balance sheet and a contribution to national output.
That is what I promised for our housing sector, and that is what is now being delivered. Renewed Hope was never charity. It is the right of every Nigerian to a place called home.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
You can imagine, Peter Obi’s wife spent 1.77billion naira in 2008 from the budget of women affairs to tour 177 communities. In 2008 ooo 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Do you now understand why Peter Obi chose to keep Anambra money in Fidelity, Diamond, and Access Bank instead of using it to improve the lives of Ndi Anambra?
The man was making crazy money from interest while the state was left to decay.
Have you ever heard Peter Obi talk about the interest earned from those bank deposits?
Have you ever heard him explain how much was generated and what it was used for?
@Omojuwa Imagine yibo trying to play the victim card when it comes to ethics profiling asin same yibo that as bad names for every tribe in this country 😆 suddenly they're now the victim becuse them want fulani vote fulani no be cow again they really think the fulani people mumu like them
Peter Obi says there should be no Office of the First Lady because “my wife didn’t contest any election” and that when he was governor, they simply lived in the same house.
Yet records from the 2008 and 2009 budgets of the Governor’s Office reportedly show personnel allocations under “Her Excellency,” including provisions for personal assistants.
So who exactly was “Her Excellency,” and why were staff attached to that office if no such structure existed?
@AkunnaAnayo@Sistaliano Pregnant Harira and her children were killed in Igbo land by IPOB, Peter Obi said nothing in condemnation. Why is Obi only now talking against profiling of Fulanis. To Peter Obi Igbos can't be wrong.
Obi wants to do divide to win, the tribal bigot thinks northerners are fools.
@AlkasimBasu@Sistaliano Which region profiled Fulani more than Igbos in this country. Ipob killed northerners in their land, Obi never made a post to stop them. They got other regions on the hate for Fulanis.
Peter Obi is a dangerous human being.
@Sistaliano His people have profiled and killed fulanis in their region throughout PMB government,Obi never condemned his people. He said IPOB was not wrong.
Peter Obi is evil.
I commend all our patriotic front-line soldiers in the fight against terrorism in all forms.
You stand as a shield between innocent citizens and those who seek to destroy the peace, safety, and dignity of our communities.
In the forests, on the roads, at forward operating bases, in the air, creeks, and across difficult terrains, you carry the burden of national protection so that millions of Nigerians can sleep, work, worship, farm, trade, and raise their children in hope.
This fight has not been easy. It has come with pain, pressure, and sacrifice. But your courage has remained firm. Your service is acknowledged. Your sacrifice is honoured. Your country does not take you for granted.
To every officer and soldier of our Armed Forces, to the Police, DSS, Civil Defence, intelligence services, local security formations, and all who work day and night to keep Nigeria safe, I say thank you.
I also acknowledge the families behind the uniform. Many of you have endured long absences, anxious nights, and the emotional cost of duty. Nigeria remembers that sacrifice, too.
We honour those who have paid the supreme price in defence of our country. Their names may not always trend, but their courage lives on in rescued communities, protected families, and the survival of the nation they served.
The fight against terror is not only a military operation. It is a national duty. Citizens must support our security forces by providing timely, useful information. When you see something, say something. When you know something, report it.
Nigeria will not surrender to fear. We will not allow terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, or violent extremists to define who we are as a people. Their violence is not our identity. Their hatred does not represent Nigerians of any faith, creed, or community.
To our troops and all front-line patriots, thank you for your courage. Thank you for your vigilance. Thank you for your service.
May the Almighty protect you as you protect our country.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu
President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces
Federal Republic of Nigeria
The 1966 Ibo coup plotters claimed they overthrew the government because of widespread corruption among the country's leaders. Yet, decades later, there's still no concrete evidence showing that many of those they assassinated were corrupt, ever accused, or convicted of corruption.
Today, considering how some people from the same group have been spreading lies, misinformation and cooking propaganda over the years, I'm beginning to believe many of the so-called corruption allegations against Tafawa Balewa and others assassinated were cooked, exaggerated, politically motivated, and deliberately amplified to justify the coup.
It was all propaganda.
These same animals once accused Tinubu of buying the whole of Lagos. Tinubu this, Tinubu that. They maliciously placed a target on his back during Endsars when though he was nowhere close to power. Many people hated that man for nothing.
When certain people from a particular region in this country make claims, do your own research and verify the facts. Blindly accepting their narratives is destructive, especially when they have a long history of lying, cooking propaganda, and being economical with the truth.
Wisdom requires careful listening and a willingness to test whatever we hear.
Some of the major highway projects currently under the Tinubu administration and their estimated lengths are:
✅. Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway — 700 km
✅. Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway — 1,068 km
✅. Calabar–Ebonyi–Benue–Kogi–Nasarawa–Abuja (Trans-Sahara) Highway — 477 km
✅. Akwanga–Jos–Bauchi–Gombe Expressway — 422 km
✅. Akwanga–Jos–Bauchi–Gombe–Biu–Maiduguri Corridor — about 439 km
✅. Abuja–Kaduna–Zaria–Kano Dual Carriageway — 350 km.
✅. Sokoto–Gusau–Funtua–Zaria Road — 275 km.
✅. BUA Tax Credit Road (Jigawa–Katsina–Kano Axis) — 256 km.
✅. 9th Mile–Oturkpo–Makurdi Road Dualisation — about 250 km.
✅. Gombe–Biu Dualisation (Section of the Legacy Corridor) — 125 km.
✅. Damaturu–Maiduguri Road — 110 km.
✅. Kano–Maiduguri Road (ongoing section) — 100.9 km.
✅. Bama and Dikwa Roads — 100 km.
✅. Lokoja–Okene Dualisation — 86 km.
✅. Malando Road (Kebbi State) — 76 km.
Together, these projects represent several thousand kilometres of new construction, dualisation, and rehabilitation across Nigeria, with the flagship legacy projects alone accounting for well over 2,600 km of strategic highways.
