—When a woman is killed by a man she claims to love, she is still blamed for going over to his house. The killer is not even talked about, some even justify his vicious actions. We all remember Damian Okoligwe, a 400 level petroleum engineering student that killed and dismembered his girlfriend Justina Tiffany Otuene a 300 level biochemistry student. Justina was slut shamed and blamed for going to see him.

—Women are not given graces and they are still blamed for being abused, violated, raped and killed.

—When a woman gets raped, she is blamed for not wearing clothes that won’t arouse men. So women are coerced to live in fear and forced to act in a way that won’t trigger men to violate them.

—Time and time again, women are slut shamed unprovoked by these same men. +234 men are even worse. Some of them don’t value or respect women and they are brazenly shameless.

How did we get here? How did everything become so messed up and damaged?? Why does the world hate women so much??
