You assume death is a tragedy for believers. You assume it is the summation of everything.
That is why death triggered an existential contemplation in you. But death isn’t the end for us.
In fact, death is a joy the believer should look forward to because it is our ticket to better life.
See how Paul approached the idea of death:
Philippians 1:21-23
“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me.
Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far.”
Paul was indecisive about death. How ironic. Others dread it, Paul was tempted by it. Why? Death is an end to the world but a means to us.
So, why are we here? Because God designed it that way. He wants us to be here. See Scripture here:
Acts 17:26
“From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.”
Did you see that God? God made the decision to fill earth with us. Even to determine where’d be per time. Why?
1 John 2:17
“The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.”
We are here to do the will of God. To what end?
Isaiah 43:7
“Everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.”
It is to God’s glory! Praise God! So we find abundant joy in our lives when we live it in the will of God because we know it’s to His glory.
The point of living is to God’s glory. Amen
Hello @usman
You probably haven't heard about us before but we are a Christian page here.
We thought we could just tell you somethings about the mixed reactions you have received about this tweet you made.
First, we think it is incredibly brave you would make the public admission that you listen to Christian preachers.
As a Muslim, it goes against everything the Quran believes. These preachers are people who believe contrarily to what the fundamentals of the Quran teaches.
But you not only publicly acknowledge listening to them, you commended them.
However, you received some reactions you may have deemed hostile from some of us.
We apologise for that. The issue of the faith is personal for everyone and reactions would be colored by emotional.
Regardless, we want to declare to you that you are doing a noble thing. Please keep listening to these preachers.
They are inspired by Jesus Christ and their words can be trusted. We really do hope you keep listening to them.
If you want a more robust inventory to get access to their messages, you can listen to them on The Believers App @TheBelieversApp.
We pray the Lord God, in whose image you were made, keep you and show you His light.
In Jesus name, amen.
At this point, I'm in need of a remote per time job/internship as a Data Analyst to learn more and to earn as a student 😩. I can also assist in your gigs even if it's to clean the data🤲.
Please retweet, thank you ♥️
