Most people will never see what keeps the world in motion—but we do.
From the smallest particles to the biggest breakthroughs, we’re the force that drives industries forward.
Watch how Oberlin Filter powers innovation, endurance, and success.
Are you paying to haul away your own valuable coolant?
A wet, saturated filter cake increases your waste volume and disposal fees while losing usable fluid.
Our systems produce a drier, more compact cake, allowing you to recover more coolant and significantly lower your haul-away costs.
JUNE is PHIL-tration Month at Oberlin!

Let’s connect and talk about how we can support your process goals.
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.
𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚. But 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 shift, 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 setup, 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 handoff.
It’s how you run the coolant.
How you store the parts.
How you train the new guy on a Monday morning.
Quality doesn’t magically appear at final inspection.
𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗲𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁-𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁.
And most of the time?
It’s the tiny things that make or break it:
- A micron too much in the mix.
- A worn seal no one noticed.
- Contaminants slipping past where “𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝” used to be.
𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁𝘀.
So the question isn’t “How do we inspect better?”
It’s about asking:
- Where do we need more 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮?
- Where do we need better 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡?
Because when the upstream inputs are dialed in, everything downstream gets easier.
We’ve built our name on keeping process inputs clean - especially the ones you can’t see.
It’s quiet work, but that’s what quality looks like.
Coolant filtration is vital for maintaining uptime and optimizing performance in industrial processes. Whether it's oil, water-soluble, or synthetic, clean coolant ensures efficient operations and extends equipment life. Remember, "Clean Liquids, Dry Solids" keeps your production running smoothly.
𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺.
They see chips in the tank…
Cloudy coolant…
Burnt tools…
And they assume the fix is 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.
More coolant swaps.
More filter changes.
More operator oversight.
But here’s the truth:
Those are just 𝙨𝙮𝙢𝙥𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙨.
The root cause is usually upstream and overlooked.
Common mistake?
𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩.
Here’s what that looks like:
- 𝗦𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 in a low-cost bag or cartridge system
- 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 “good enough” filtration is actually good enough
- 𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 pressure spikes, flow drops, and bypass events
- 𝗟𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 fines and tramp oil circulate for weeks
Meanwhile:
Tooling costs are climbing.
Machine uptime is dropping.
Coolant life is nosediving.
And the maintenance team is too busy playing whack-a-mole.
𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁.
They stop chasing symptoms and start building systems that prevent them.
Better filtration = Cleaner coolant → Longer tool life → Fewer changeovers → More production.
If your shop keeps solving the same problem over and over, you’re not solving it, you’re managing it.
Might be time to rethink what's “good enough.”
