One thing Iโve learned from coding Agent usage:
The quality of your rules.md file matters more than the quality of your prompts.
A few hundred words of project rules can save thousands of tokens in debugging and rewrites.
I am a British, Nigerian yes but Iโve always cared about Nigeria and anybody that has followed my career can vouch for that. I have houses in Nigeria, I want to take my kids home to a safe country just like we travel the rest of the world. Why should I not speak up about what is happening in my homeland?
To @SecRubio:
PLEASE REPOST.
@PeterObi is the best candidate for president of Nigeria, but he is destined to lose to the orrupt Tinubu unless the voting system is reformed from violence and corruption to free and fair elections. Will you enact diplomacy to help? cc: @WhiteHouse
I track Nigeria's fuel market daily.
This week was the most dramatic yet.
5 days of relief. Then the ceasefire collapsed.
Brent back above $104.
Here's what it all means for your pump price ๐

Fuel price changed twice before noon today.
Thatโs not instability โ thatโs the new reality.
If youโre still planning fuel costs monthly, youโre already behind.
Track it. Adapt faster.

Fuel hit โฆ1,300. That was when Sadiq knew guessing was costing him money.
Sadiq drives Bolt in Lagos.
Before the recent fuel hikes, he was coping.
Not comfortably.
Not cheaply.
But at least predictably.
Then everything changed.
If you want to understand why fuel costs what you paid today, Fuel Price Watch Daily Digest breaks down the full chain behind it.
Every fuel price change has a chain behind it โ this is what it looks like today.

This is big.
AI agents can now pay and act on your behalf.
Weโre moving from:
โTell AI what to doโ
to
โLet AI get it doneโ
The real question isnโt what AI can do anymore.
Itโs:
How long can it run without you?
Thatโs the gap.
And thatโs where things start to get real.
Today, weโre launching the @link wallet for agents. It lets you securely empower agents to spend on your behalf. Your payment credentials are never exposed and you approve every purchase.

I sent $1,000 from New York to Lagos through 8 payment rails. The best delivered โฆ1,400,000. The worst delivered โฆ1,323,000. That โฆ77,000 gap = one month of groceries for a family in Lagos.
Yesterday's rail comparison got sharp feedback. The strongest critique: "Try this on a low-liquidity corridor. I bet stablecoins don't look the same."
Fair. So I redid the experiment on the hardest corridor I could find: Nigeria.

The Naira isn't one currency. It's two.
โ The official CBN rate: โฆ1,345 per USD. Banks, SWIFT, Wise, Western Union must use it.
โ The parallel market rate: โฆ1,400 per USD. It's where real dollar supply meets real demand.
That 4% gap isn't a fee. It's the government pricing the naira higher than anyone is willing to pay for it.

That USDT P2P rate only exists because someone, somewhere, holds naira and wants dollars. The P2P desk IS the off-ramp. It's real infrastructure, with real liquidity risk.
But here's what they couldn't see on the ParisโNY corridor:
In a dual-rate economy, stablecoins aren't just faster. They give you access to a different price. The real price.
Nigeria has the world's 2nd-largest P2P crypto volume. Not speculation. Access to the actual dollar rate, without flying to Lagos with a suitcase.
The next decade's fintech question isn't "will stablecoins replace SWIFT?"
It's "what happens when 2 billion people in dual-rate economies realize they can bypass the official channel?"
โฆ77,000 on $1,000 tells me the question is worth asking.
