Exploring truth and perspective in the margin between faith and doubt. Flawed, imperfect, saved by grace. Always genuine. Pronouns: Surprise me. I'm not picky
Mal, Mal, Mal....think it through buddy.
Jesus will be in Heaven, with HIS Father.
Jesus tells believers to ask HIM for anything in HIS name.
Jesus states HE will answer their request.
Mal, to WHOM do you pray?
In WHOSE name do you pray?
WHO answers your prayers?
It's not a stretch at all. It's intellectually honest exegesis.
With two right hands, a face and eyes, a side and a shin, but no wang or balls your puny little god obviously incapable of fathering a son. He can't even be in more than one place at a time.
Fully spatially-limited your puny god can't do much of anything.
But the REAL God YHWH has a Son. And to him EVERY knee will bow, and EVERY tongue will confess Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
@OneWayApologetc@KingDawah1 BΓΌtz has zero scholarly credentials. @KingDawah1 went to Gemini and said "cherry-pick authors that match my cognitive bias, regardless of how asinine their claims are".
This is @Jvnior level stupidity from "king" Dawah.
......you have no idea how blockchain works if you think that.
The only thing missing from your argument is the slightest shred of evidence. You don't have anything like that.
Blockchain works on the principle of digital provenance. We can know from where every bit in the chain originates.

You have NOTHING like that in the Quran. Heck, you don't even know if Uthman saved the "right" Quran. He might have burned it. You simply don't know. You have zero evidence.

@KingDawah1 Nice try. "C" for effort.
Butz is not a scholar, and the views he provides are fringe, and not representative of mainstream scholarship.
No points on the scoreboard for you.
Just want to say shoutout to the 3 Muslims that @InspiringPhilos , Belle, and I debated. Because of them, Muslims are leaving Islam and doubting their faith. This is just after a scroll or two in the comments, by the way. πππ
John 14:12-24.
Jesus directly instructs believers to pray to HIM after he ascends into Heaven to be with his Father, and he will fulfill them.
1. That is a claim to be God.
2. That is instruction to worship him.
In the spirit of fairness and balance I want to recognize the response this lady gave me. This was in response to a thread about how Africa doesnt need Christianity or Islam since they're not from there.
I had replied stating while Christianity spread to Africa early on via peaceful evangelism, Islam spread quickly via violent conquest and colonialism.
This was her reply to me. I have to say I appreciate this kind of response from people. Sure, there is an acedemically honest and valid response to her. But there's a story behind the question here. The topic of slavery is a sincere topic and one to which Christianity needs to take a sober and sincere look.
While the slavery of the Bible is vastly different than that of the trans-Atlantic slave trade of African to Europe and the Americas, the Bible was abused in order to justify it. This went on for hundreds of years, and it was never truly rectified.
There is no "but" here in this post. I'm not going to make any attempt to diminish the pain behind her comment. I'm not going to offer a solution or hide behind euphemisms. A great evil was done in the name of God and the Church during the trans-Atlantic slave trade.
You got that all twisted, Tiger. Nobody worships cross, bread, or wine. Even Catholics (of which I am not one) don't "worship" these. That's as dishonest as saying Muslims "worship" the kaaba. Be a man of integrity and stop making things up.
According to the Quran there is no biblical textual corruption. The Quran calls itself the guarding/protector of the prior scriptures, and claims to fully confirm them. It never once says there is corruption.
As for Paul I'm talking about the one your earliest Islamic scholars spoke highly of, calling him a messenger of Allah.
I love the tu quoque cope both you and @abdul_now committed. I brought it back to topic.
So, child sex slavery you say, eh?
Must be talking about Numbers 31:17β18, right?
Do me a favor. Close out of whatever geocities-quality Dawahghandist weblog you're reading, and open that Bible passage for yourself.
Find for me in that passage where it says "The Lord commands" in regard to keeping the young virgins for themselves.
Take your time. Let me know what you find.
