USDT0 is now live on the $iota Mainnet. And things are already starting to get interesting. 👀
The first confirmed USDT0 transfer from Ethereum to IOTA took place on September 17.
More importantly, this is no longer based on hints or test tokens. The official USDT0 documentation now lists IOTA L1 and describes a dedicated Ethereum ↔ IOTA route.
USDT is locked on Ethereum → USDT0 is minted on IOTA.
USDT0 is burned on IOTA → USDT is released on Ethereum.
So one of the pieces IOTA has been missing is finally becoming real: a dollar liquidity and settlement layer directly on the Move-based L1.
And the timing gets even more interesting.
On September 23, 19 Move packages for a perpetual exchange were reportedly deployed to the IOTA Mainnet within just 48 minutes, together with an exchange and a vault configured to use the official USDT0 token as collateral.
There is no live market or trading yet, and we still don’t know who’s behind it. So this is clearly early infrastructure, not adoption.
In fact, only around 1.27 USDT0 was on IOTA at the time of the latest check.
But look at what is beginning to come together:
🌐 @TWINGlobalOrg / trade infrastructure → real-world trade data
🪪 @iota Identity → identity & verification
🏦 Tokenization → digital assets / RWAs
💵 USDT0 → dollar liquidity & settlement
📈 DeFi → lending, collateral & markets
This is the part I’ve been waiting for.
Trade and RWA infrastructure becomes much more interesting once it has access to a liquid settlement asset and financial markets on the same underlying network.
We’re obviously nowhere near that scale yet.
But USDT0 reaching IOTA changes this from “could happen” to “the rails are actually being deployed.”
Now I’m watching for three things:
USDT0 liquidity → live DeFi markets → actual RWA / trade-finance usage.
If those pieces start connecting, that’s where things get really interesting. 🔷

@Vrom14286662 Almost – just a small update is still needed for our first RC 😉, then we’re ready for @ObjectID_io on mainnet, but yeah, it’s more work than someone would think...
@Salimasbegum I think there is a mistake in your analogy: the network is not God. God consists of all the community of nodes that support the network. Without them, it would not exist, so it cannot be God.
@Salimasbegum All decentralized networks operate using a majority voting system. Does the specific action being performed actually matter, or is the only thing that counts the fact that it was decided upon by a majority of the network's nodes?
ObjectID Digital Twin grant you to manage your twin with total privacy, run your own MQTT server if needed and be compliant with the new ISO 30188 standard.
Moreover, allow you to prove the autenticity of the data produced by your machine.
Global trade keeps the world moving, but it’s still trapped in paper.
One transaction can involve 30 stakeholders, 240 paper copies and weeks of delays.
TWIN is the trusted trade network built to fix that. Watch how in just over 2 minutes.

The IOTA Distributed Oracle is now reviewing the game results on-chain using AI in the background from multiple sources (testnet).
We're getting close to the mainnet launch 💚
@ all validators: when joining?

Haha! @iota Oracle Approved!!!
I asked 3 LLMs from 3 different Nodes:
"Who is the best german soccer team"
and all 3 answered:
"Bayern Munich" @FCBayern
See here:

Check out my tutorial to ask your own questions and play around with the IOTA Oracle: https://t.co/w01WCknqEF
You only need an @iota wallet with testnet token!
With the help of @dlt_green every @iota validator can now easily become part of the DECENTRALIZED ORACLE (initial idea from @sdellava / @ObjectID_io 🙏👏🙌).
The more nodes that will join the network, the reliable your oracle answers will be! You can choose how many nodes should answer your question and based on that you will have to pay more or less fees.
Try it out in the testnet! That's a GREAT NEW USECASE!!!
And also a great way to earn additional fees as an IOTA validator... Maybe ultimately the staking commission fees will come down, because the economic race between the validators will have a new feature...🤔
One day validators can't afford to not be part of the oracle, because they might loose the economic race against other validators that'll get these additional fees from the oracle users... 🤔
Can someone smarter than me estimate, if that evolution is good or bad for the security of the @iota network @DomSchiener?
Glad to announce that the IOTA Distributed Oracle V2 has been released.
Testnet only, with mainnet expected to follow shortly.
What’s new? Decentralized recurring execution !
And there is more: https://t.co/bhKuwAdtbB
We are pleased to announce a major update to our staking report, now available on the IOTA Testnet:
⭐️ Tamper-proof document
⭐️ No collection of personal data
⭐️ Currently approved by https://t.co/g9mLf7RBD8 (more soon)
⭐️ Immutable metadata
⭐️ Decentralized verification via @ObjectID_io on @iota
❌ Forget centralized validation
Here a beautiful example of the power of the IOTA Distributed Oracle: three nodes use an AI platform to classify a PDF document as an invoce:
@iota@dlt_green
Documents are a fundamental part of a product's identity and history. ObjectID leverages this capability to connect each digital product twin, together with its lifecycle history, to the relevant supporting documentation, such as certifications, and approvals.
We are excited to announce that the IOTA Distributed Oracle, a fully decentralized, consensus-driven oracle network, is now available for testing on the IOTA Testnet.

And here you can use it: https://t.co/xW6df3r1fq
Why does ObjectID matter?
The IOTA Distributed Oracle can execute complex tasks through a fully decentralized computation model. Among its capabilities is the storage of documents on IPFS, where they can be pinned by multiple oracle nodes.
