As the tight ends coach at Ohio University, Iโm focused on building real chemistry and setting a higher standard in our room. At Ohio Bobcats, culture starts with accountability, trust, and competing for each other every day. we change the standard.
It's hard to believe we are already 1.5 months into 2026! Wow, time is flying!
Now that we are 6 weeks in to the New Year, I encourage you take a moment to inventory and reflect on how your year has started.
Has it been be a productive and fulfilling year so far?
With that said... please give yourself some grace if your answer is โno.โ
You still have plenty of time to course correct in the areas you feel deficient.
So please be kind to yourself.
And rememberโฆ you don't need to 'be on the grind' or 'have your foot on the gas' 24/7.
That's a recipe for burnout.
You can be wildly productive and live a very fulfilling life by working at a reasonable pace.
For me personally, my answers to the questions in this image, serve as helpful guardrails to living my best life and being my best self.

When putting your stamp on a program, your first goal is quality practice habits and raising the bar on what โhardโ is.
This dude is wise beyond his years
