Rebecca Akello, Ugandan public health nurse, on the difference that The Geneva Learning Foundation (TGLF) has made for her:

"Before I joined the TGLF and did the action planning with teams from other countries, I used to think of needing donations from outside to help achieve my immunization targets. But through TGLF, my motivation shifted to using the available local resources to do what I'm expected to do and perform according to the standards. That insight was a very good motivator for improving my immunization rates. And this improvement was appreciated even at the district level and I believe at the national level in Uganda."
