Fokus rapporterar om ett läkaruppror efter demonstrationen utanför Karolinskas huvudentré. I ett öppet brev till Region Stockholm, Karolinskas ledning och Meliva kräver läkare att de personer som deltog i manifestationen i arbetskläder ska mötas av konsekvenser.

Enligt brevet upplevdes demonstrationen som hotfull av både personal och patienter. Läkarna kräver att Region Stockholm agerar mot Meliva och klargör att politiska manifestationer i vårdkläder är oacceptabla.

Kravet är tydligt: det som skedde får inte stanna vid ett enskilt samtal utan bör få ”korrektiva konsekvenser för enskilda inblandade”.

For years, anyone on the centre left was expected to say absurd stuff like “trans women are women” and “some women have penises.” No one actually believed it - but if you didn’t chant the mantra you would be ostracized as a far right hateful Nazi transphobic genocidal bigot.

So most people - being cowardly - simply pretended to go along with it. And to prove their allegiance to the cult, they joined in the vilification of all those who refused to lie.

Of course we’re glad to see people return to planet reality. But they have left so many people’s lives and careers in ruins along the way.
