The Office of the Prime Minister is hiring but only hand delivered hard copies will be accepted.
Nope, this is not an old advert from 1982. It is from 2026 and a government that has an e-government portal which we pay for with our tax money wants applicants from Nakapiripirit to print out hard copies of their CVs and bring them to Kampala by Bus, in 2026😳.
What about Ugandans living abroad or those studying abroad? Well, I guess they can get a flight to bring their applications and then go back.
Just for reference, even South Sudan and Somalia have online job application portals. And these are countries that literally depend on Uganda to exist.
@OPMUganda what is this? Kale, if you don’t have IT people at OPM, a google form is literally free of charge. Mutuswaza man.
Kabanda, Katesh, Cissy Namujju, etc. it was chaired by Among’s uncle, Isiagi. They were not on gunpoint, they were benefiting. Their constituencies were beneficiaries of reallocations a number of times. It’s mainly the reason they were all voted back.
Dear @IGGUganda,
Please stop this fake behavior.
You’re only posting this obvious joke because you recognize the political winds have shifted.
You’re only coming out now because of the @mkainerugaba political winds.
You’re just trying to protect your jobs by pretending to fight corruption.
You haven’t just started receiving these public complaints about corruption in government. You’ve got these complaints for years and actively helped to conceal them (please see receipts attached). Happy to present more at your request.
You aren’t fooling anyone.
If Anita Among (MP) was still in with a shouting match of being Speaker of the 12th Parliament, you’d swallow the whistle as you always do.
#AGASHUMA!!
Yesterday, my father was picked from our home by officers in uniform allegedly acting under the directives of the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) for Mubende District, Umar Lule Mawiya, the District Police Commander(DPC) Bakulu Mpagi Bashir, and the current LC5 Chairperson Muhereza Michael Ntambi. He is currently being unlawfully detained at Mubende Police Station.
This comes after State Minister for Lands, @drsam_mayaja , visited Mubende District in April 2026 and directed residents to return to their land. During that visit, he reportedly ordered the cancellation of a 12-square-mile land title linked to the late Christopher Obeya, which he described as fraudulently acquired and allegedly used to facilitate violent and illegal evictions in Buwekula South.
My father(Tabaalo Mike), the current Chairperson LC3 Kitenga Sub County, is now being charged simply for standing with the people who returned to their land following the minister’s directives.
Dear @PoliceUg , I am asking for justice for my father. He is being held at Mubende Police Station without any clear explanation of the crime he allegedly committed.
Please help my father🙏. @MubendeDlg@ministry_lands@ug_lawsociety@JudiciaryUG
That is the contact of the District Police Commander (DPC) of Mubende District, Bashir Bakulu Mpagi, who together with Ntambi and Nayebare Kyamuzugita ordered the arrest of my sick father, who is being kept at Mubende Police Station.
You can reach out to him and thank him for being one of the most corrupt officers. @PoliceUg@MubendeDlg
