@justxseptit@BigF4TR3tard@KillaZombie719@tarkov@nikgeneburn I mean I agree arena is p2w but the level locking is still a decent idea, 1-6x scopes are the norm on late game guns, having them available too early would kinda break progression (mostly during the early wipe not so much in the current state)
@tarkov Overall I think Icebreaker is great. The AI difficulty means there is still a challenge despite the lack of players, and the loot justifies that challenge. My only complaint is Wedge’s squad, I like the smoke grenade strategy, but it should be easier to clear them without smokes.
@BarryBucketz@nikgeneburn Ah yes, AI pmcs that anyone with a functioning frontal cortex can smoke with no problem = black division hitting you 10 times in the thorax 0.1 seconds after you dared peek them
@Jeffrey87539941@nikgeneburn It’s a map specifically designed to be difficult, you can’t complete the story in one raid by design and it’s packed with the single most difficult AI faction in the game. Tarkov has also never been realistic.
@HitmanSixActual@nikgeneburn Might be cause they run the IB raids on BSG servers so giving you unlimited time would create too much overhead
And they probably don’t want to allow local hosting like offline raids for cheating purposes (like that isn’t already a problem)
@M4NT1ZZ@nikgeneburn It takes practice tbh, I also usually play duo and in our most recent run we got to wedge with like 20 minutes, but we had to skip looting rogues and the BD under helipad
If you’re going for boss I’d recommend bringing ER keycard and trying to skip rogues
@AirwingMarine Totally agree, me and my brother have been running duos for a few raids now and it’s very gratifying to see how much more time we have every raid as we get better at clearing it
You have to make sacrifices depending on your goals for the run, I think it’s a good balance as it is
