The Nakba exhibit divides Canadians, imports a foreign conflict and fails the mandate of a national museum.

How disgusting to treat random strangers like this. There isn't a single person from a single country whom I would ever dare insult without knowing anything about them ...other than the fact that they are standing in front of me.
In her entire unhinged rant, Nerdeen Kiswani from “Within Our Lifetime” gets exactly one thing right: politicians in the U.S., especially the socialist flank of the Democratic Party, absolutely use and exploit the Palestinian issue for votes, virtue signaling, and clout. Then, once in office, they inevitably pivot to a more pragmatic posture. Yet any rational observer understands why: no elected official can afford to be publicly aligned with the extremists, maximalists, and unhinged voices that dominate the loudest corners of the “pro‑Palestine movement,” let alone with groups like Hamas, the IRGC, or the Houthis – and definitely not Nerdeen’s WOL.
Any political operative with basic instincts knows that anti‑American, anti‑Western, Islamist, fascistic, and jihadi‑adjacent coalitions are political poison; the equivalent of having a partner you’d never bring to a family dinner, even if that partner helped you get where you are. The delusion is Nerdeen’s insistence that the solution is MORE radicalism, MORE extremism, MORE Hamas or “resistance by any means necessary” apologetics, and LESS pragmatism. This is precisely why a serious, effective pro‑Palestine movement has never taken root in the United States or the West: activist circles refuse to learn, refuse to mature, and keep doubling down on ideological purity and strategic failures instead of learning from even the new class of grifters and opportunists who are rising to power.
Again, where she’s not wrong is in noting that a new wave of socialist, communist, leftist, and Islamist office-seekers are indeed exploiting the Palestinian suffering and cause, especially the deaths and maiming of Gazans, to build their brands and win local races that ultimately have little to nothing to do with the faraway conflict in the Middle East. And yet, the gullible masses keep falling for it. They never seem to learn.
What is that saying? Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice....
How many antisemites are you "accidentally" going to platform before I get to suggest maybe you're doing it on purpose?
For those who haven't been following -- and nobody's been following because nobody cares, least of all the journalists' NGOs -- Hamas and Islamic Jihad have been steadily releasing death notifications for one "journalist" after another, listing them invariably as fighters and commanders in the organizations' ranks.
It's dozens now. Maybe more.
But the "Israel targets journalists" meme is forever. The facts will never penetrate the thick fog of ideological confirmation bias that has overtaken the NGO and activism world and its journalistic arms in the mainstream media.
Literally no one cares about whether journalists were actually hunted down by Israel, as it was depicted by @pressfreedom and others, or whether Hamas used fake "journalist" claims to protect combatant commanders, counting on a global NGO and media ecosystem it knew was looking to confirm its biases.
No one will examine these falsehoods or report on them in a visible way because no one cares about the wellbeing of the real journalists, who are desperately endangered when combatant commanders are labeled "journalists" -- and even the world's major journalist advocacy groups decide to play along.
"Israel's future will be decided by people who refuse to let hate run their lives"
The day after an Arab Israeli terrorist carried out a shooting spree in central Israel, killing 1 and wounding 5, Arab Israeli human rights activist Somaya Bashir is speaking out.
She condemns terrorism, calling for zero tolerance. She warns that terrorists want to make Jews hate Arabs and Arabs lose faith in Israel. She refuses to let that happen.
The Free Palestine activists in London and New York say terror is just "resistance". A woman they claim to represent condemns it in no uncertain terms.
What does she know that they don't?
I went to Pride wearing a Niqab in Stockholm because these Rainbow Fascists are not talking about the MOST oppressed LGBTQ people in the world, the ones who live in Muslim countries. And even worse, why are they importing and protecting their ideology?
Is this true? Does this member of Carney's council tasked with combating antisemitism refuse to condemn Hamas and Hezbollah?
The same Hamas whose covenant calls for the killing of Jews -- not pesky Zionists, mind you, but Jews?
The same Hamas whose children's programming carries insane conspiracy theories about Jews? (Again, not Israelis. Jews.)
The same Hamas born of the Muslim Brotherhood and its Nazi-esque antisemitic discourse?
When can we just conclude that Carney isn't remotely interested in tackling antisemitism -- which in Canada's case is disproportionately a Muslim-community phenomenon -- but that he's actually covering for it?
This is inversion so callous it's hard to believe.
The Holocaust had a survival rate of about 30%. Millions of people disappeared from European cities and towns over several years. Everybody knew because it was happening all around them.
Gaza has a survival rate, despite the worst and most deadly and horrible periods of the war, of 97%.
All the dead Jews were noncombatants. A large percentage of the dead Gazans were combatants.
And the Jews of Europe, even as their millennia-old civilization was being systematically wiped out, wanted nothing from the societies that surrounded them except to be allowed to live in peace.
Gaza's leadership of religious fanatics, meanwhile, wants every last Israeli dead and gone, is willing to fight to the last Gazan to achieve that aim, has said so publicly and worked for decades to blow up every peace attempt -- and even now believes that Gaza's destruction would be a worthwhile sacrifice to lay on the altar of Israel's destruction, because their god told them so.
So Israelis can reasonably believe, given those features of the Gaza war that aren't true about any genocide ever, and were pretty much the opposite of what was happening in the Holocaust, that Gaza's suffering is a bad and painful war, but not remotely a genocide.
But the point of it all, of course, is not to analyze Gaza, but specifically to lump it together with the Holocaust -- to cast the Jews as the new Nazis.
The only reason this person would dare to make such an insanely ahistorical and immoral parallel is because this is the heart of the bigoted propaganda campaign in which he enthusiastically participates: The point of it all is to make the Jews into the Nazis.
A culture that obsessed about Jews being evil and was then shocked by the Holocaust into obsessing about dead Jews as the apotheosis of righteous victimhood is now obsessively engaged in knocking Jews off that moral pedestal they themselves put them on.
That's why they don't care one whit about Hamas massacres of Gazans, about genocidal wars in Syria or Yemen (even when they've funded and armed the sides), about flotilla activists currently held by the Libyans...literally nothing triggers a response except Jews.
They still, even after all these generations, no matter what else is happening in the world or in their own societies, can't stop thinking about Jews.
And as we Jews learned in the 1940s -- the actual, historical 1940s, not the weird fantasies conjured up by these bigots -- a whole society can be in the grip of a callous, destructive bigotry and still believe it is true and righteous.
