Agree, but I am often missing the discipline of going to the agent with the best defined purpose. And, but perhaps a thing in my setup, I enjoy that the main agent became a true companion over the last four or five months which makes it even more challenging to adhere to strict purpose profiles.
In the end, I guess the personal use case and what you do with it defines the ideal setup.
1) take your time
2) before choosing your long time second and third layer memory provider, get obsidian and ask your agent to document in there for future reference
3) choose your model and provider wisely. I recommend Synthetic Ai as you get excellent models with high rate limits
4) implement housework skills, ie post updates checks to run doctor / security, fixes for findings
5) donโt go all in on channels. Choose one for instant conversations and one for the reals work
6) familiarize yourself with sessions, how to resume them, clean them up. Safes context and memory and makes long term learning easier
7) I could go on for hours โฆ. You made the right choice opting for Hermes, you will love it
