This beauty, the Berylune, was constructed by William Jepson and Walter Koken at the
shipyard in Detroit Harbor and launched in August 1917. It is beautifully restored and on display in the #GillsRockMuseum.

Here is the first ore boat he saw going through the Door this year. It may not necessarily be the first, just the first he saw. It is the Mark W. Barker. It was built last year in Sturgeon Bay, the first in over 30 years.
