Can we just take a minute to appreciate what SBS has done in the first few days of the World Cup…
From a broadcast perspective, they’re awesome.
Highlights, mini matches, extended highlights, full replays as soon as the match is done.
The hosts and panelists have done a great job between matches with informative and interesting discussion, not just ragebait and headlines.
And completely free.
In terms of a sporting product… jeez, it puts a few other outlets on the hot seat with viewers you’d think
I$rael is leaving bombs disguised as footballs in many towns and villages across southern Lebanon, as documented here in Douier. This isn't the first time bombs have been disguised as children's toys by the I$raeli's. Locals are being advised to remain diligent and not touch or move any suspicious looking objects
Do you remember 'All Eyes on Rafah'?
This is what Rafah looks like now, 2 years later. The IDF invaded Rafah in June 2024 and systematically destroyed everything that sustained life.
"Israel" is incompatible with humanity.
Toda vez que eu vejo alguém cortando pedra com areia e um barbante de algodão eu lembro dos trouxas que acreditam que apenas tecnologia alienígena explica as pirâmides
The US is making Australia its new front line in a future war with China and they are being welcomed in by Labor and One Nation who are on a unity ticket here. Shameful and dangerous betrayal of our collective safety.
As I hit 40 this year, this is some good advice that we can all benefit from. From a spiritual POV I would add that (actually an older me told me this in a dream) you don’t have much time after 40 to figure out the best ROI on actions and beliefs. Either you figure it out and then it’s cruise mode till death, or you are stuck in infinite loops of chasing spiritual highs. This is also the ideal age to start working towards your “legacy”. Sa’di Shirazi writes in the preface of Gulistan that he saw white appear on his beard and felt that he had to leave something behind so he could be remembered in goodness. He lived another 60 years but did not write anything as compelling.
Some common-sense things Trump said today that were nevertheless shocking:
Everybody else has ballistic missiles, why can’t Iran?
The frozen money belonged to Iran, and the U.S. needed to release it otherwise nobody would trust the dollar system. Why should we steal their money?
Neighboring countries use nuclear power for electricity, why can’t Iran?
Israel shouldn’t knock down entire buildings in Beirut every time a drone or two crashes harmlessly in the desert.
Trump would’ve become Herbert Hoover in a few weeks once oil ran out and the market crashed. He had no choice but to end the war.
BREAKING: Israel Has Just Inflicted A Khan Younis Beach Massacre
Dozens of casualties amongst civilians who were targeted on the beach.
The Israelis are frustrated with their failures in Lebanon & Iran, so they are taking it out on the people of Gaza.
It’s even more crazy how Iran fired thousands of “cheap” drones and missiles at several countries from thousands of miles away but not once accidentally hit a school, a university or a hospital.
It’s almost like their goal was defense & deterrence -not terror & ethnic cleansing.
