It makes sense to me, like, in the way the eyes are naturally dark or the darkness of the alley makes them dark

he can die, but you need the shard(tm) or sword(tm)

|| considering red works by different rules and physics, he could be partially immune to any damage type that isn't directly physical (black damage, white damage, pale damage) because his composition isnt made to respond to those types of damage. Only physical sources

He actually just has like 20 countermeasures instead BEFORE dying
