@itspch_ Testosterone does that eventually. Apparently he got really jacked at the gym. He looks so calm and composed compared to his past self. I'm so glad he's living his best life now.
@GGemini19 This man is the real winner in my heart.
Got void ray rushed, but stays in control of himself. GGs and exits gracefully. He got jacked at the gym and even got a PhD.
A man who conquered himself is a sight to behold. Well done IdrA.
@MommyOneeChan I absolutely love how the directors of these cinematic can make these scenes relate to players. HOTS had that F2+A move vibe to it, LOTV had that insane Protoss micro. And this time we got the double barracks cheese strat with shitty micro lmao.
@angel_d_munoz@shindags Probably some Terran player who watched Maru pulled it off in the GSL years ago thinking he could do the same, but realizes his micro is shit, hence poor Jimmy Marine here died. Jokes aside, I think they choose this particular setup to show how disposable Terran Marines are.
@engineseer@Some_Anxiety Yup, I guess that's what makes this genre of science fiction so interesting. I hope Blizzard doesn't fuck it up. But I am sure they will at one point.
@engineseer@Some_Anxiety Warhammer 40K, Helldivers, and Starcraft have very similar themes. They all galaxy wide human empires that are plain brutal regimes, where human life is just cheap.
But gameplay wise, you're right. They probably want to emulate the success of SM2 and HD2.
@Taco_the_Train I thought they were Spires, until I noticed the shape of it. Absolutely lovely cinematic made by Blizzard. But I really doubt they can release this title properly especially looking at what happened to Overwatch.
@ProtoBozo I think the harsh truth is, nobody can make an RTS as good as SC2 anymore. That's why they have to pivot to a live service FPS game.
Even they struggled with SC2 balance patches, to the point where tournaments started using custom mods lol.
@Weltallid40@YorchTorchGames That's the point. He looks like a generic AAA protagonist that's built for the modern audience, cocky and overconfident. Until he sees the Zerg swarm and lasts less than 10 seconds in combat, dies a coward when his gun fails.
Brutal reminder that Starcraft is dark.
@UnderTheMayo Honestly I didn’t care. I was more mesmerized by the movements and the performance of the fights the actors put up. The choreography was impressive and I loved it.
