Day 62 Learning React
Today was all about improving the user experience.I fixed the mobile navbar by adding a hamburger menu, made the navbar sticky, and added a smooth transparent to dark effect on scroll.
I also connected the hero buttons to their correct pages and fixed a routing bug that had both buttons pointing to the same path.
Finally, I fixed a scroll issue where navigating between pages would keep the previous scroll position. Now, every page starts from the top, making navigation feel much smoother and more professional.
Another step forward. We keep building. π

Don't let people's opinions stop you. Keep posting, Keep learning, Keep growing, Keep showing up, even when it feels like nobody is paying attention.
The truth is, people will always have something to say. If you quit, they'll talk. If you succeed, they'll still talk.
So instead of worrying about the noise, focus on becoming better every day. Keep building, keep trying, and keep pushing forward.
At the end of the day, if they're going to talk anyway, give them something worth talking about. π

Day 60 & 61 Learning React
So today, I focused on the Services page of my Interior Design website.
I started by working on the initial design, but honestly, it just wasn't giving what I wanted . After looking at it for a while, I decided to scrap it completely and start over.
I spent some time going back and forth on different layouts until I finally landed on an agency-style two-column design. Users can now click on a service on the left, and the details update dynamically on the right.
I also built a How We Work section that walks users through the entire process , from Discovery and Planning to Design, Execution, and Handover.
We go again tomorrow. π₯

The education system in Nigeria is seriously flawed, especially at the university level.
These days, if you're not studying a professional course that requires a certificate to practice, you need to be very intentional about building skills outside the classroom.
Let's be honest: in many fields, someone who spent years studying a course in university may still struggle to compete with someone who focused on learning and mastering the practical skills directly.
The sad reality is that many of us are in university just to get a degree and feel among, hoping that after graduation a job will magically appear. But the truth is, the government isn't waiting to employ everyone, and in most cases, nobody even knows you exist.
After spending 4β5 years in school, reality hits differently when you graduate. That's why advice like "just focus on school" often works better for people who already have strong connections and opportunities waiting for them.
If you don't have those advantages, don't wait until after graduation. While you're still in school, learn a skill, build something, gain experience, and create opportunities for yourself.
Nigeria is already tough. Don't leave your future entirely in the hands of a certificate.

Welcome to the month of June! π
We're already in the sixth month of the year, and you're still hoping the right client will magically find you without putting yourself out there.
Have you ever wondered why people you know you're more skilled than keep landing jobs while you're not?
It's simple: they're visible.
They're consistently putting themselves out there, showcasing their work, sharing their journey, and reminding people of what they can do.
The days when clients would discover you without any effort on your part are long gone.
This is 2026. If you were looking to hire someone, would you choose the person you've seen consistently displaying their skills online, or the one who barely shows up?
This is no longer about whether you're a social media person. It's no longer about being an introvert or an extrovert.
Visibility is no longer optional, it's a necessity.
If you truly want to grow, attract opportunities, and build your brand, you need to let people know you exist. The world can't reward what it doesn't see.

Day 59 Learning React
So today was basically about adding more images to the Study Room section.
One thing I've really enjoyed throughout this project is using Cloudinary. Instead of filling up your project folder with tons of images, you simply upload them to Cloudinary and use the image URLs in your code.
It makes managing images much easier and keeps everything organized. If you haven't tried it yet, it's definitely worth checking out.
I also added descriptions and prices to all the images, so whenever a user clicks on any image, they can view more details about it along with the price.
Another day, another step forward. We go again tomorrow πͺ.

Day 58 Learning React
So my people, Iβm back again with my challenge.
Today was mostly about fixing the images in my interior design website. After cloning my code back to my folder, some of the images stopped showing, so I had to sort everything out.
I ended up fixing the broken image paths, replacing a few images, and uploading new ones to Cloudinary. After that, I pushed everything back to GitHub.
Tomorrow, we go harder πͺ
