It does work sometimes, but it's not worth the risk of it constantly disconnecting and counting as a standalone joycon and thus not working cause the right side has no issues and always count as connected.

I might have fucked up my switch. joycons struggle to attach to the left side. I hoped it was the joycon that was fucked, but when I tested with joycons from a different switch it was still struggling.
it's ok when I play in the livingroom cause I'll just dock it.

It's trying to use it when in bed or anywhere else that sucks now. It's not the worst since I have a stand and procontroller, but I hate that I don't really have the option of handheld with it.

If Nintendo releases a switch that's more upgraded on more than just the screen I might update my first/regular one, but I didn't think it was worth it just for the oled screen.

Since the shiny rate with Mass Outbreak with Shiny Charm and Lv. 3 Sparkling Power sandwich is the exact same rate as the Masuda method and Shiny Charm I will stick to shiny breeding. I have not come across a single noticable shiny in my gameplay. Regular shiny hunting is a pain.
