Not unlikely, not unlucky - it’s Issue 13! With a lustrous lineup of 13 souls! Read to your heart’s content, tell your neighbors, tell your friends, wake up the demons under your bed - it’s HERE! 👁️ https://t.co/o6esJNitzX
EYE HAVE NEWS: Submissions for Issue 14 open from August 1st-14th. Please note that our Instagram will gradually become our main form of social media (@occulumjournal) 👁️🗨️
A gradual, slightly painless shift in content, but Eye am slowly moving out of the Twittersphere and having Instagram as the sole social around these parts. 👁️🗨️ https://t.co/qLVGUxTMgK
The few, but essential, poems in the book bring order to the abstraction. Not only that, they facilitate vital transitions. And, @OcculumJournal shared my appreciation of this play on form: https://t.co/BCiemFdnAc
I’m deeply appreciative and grateful for the people who continue to read, submit to, and support this journal. But I’m kind of lost with where it’s going. But I’m hopeful. I’m figuring it out. Thank you. x Arielle
FROM THE EDITOR’S DESK: This is just a little message of apology. I’m sorry I haven’t been engaging with the journal and its social media accounts lately. I’m sorting out a few personal things and Occulum has been on the back burner for the past few months. 1/2
being open, but I’m going to try to engage with everyone as much as I possibly can, with emails as well as Twitter and Instagram. Thank you to whoever is reading this. I appreciate it a lot! 🖤

#WritingCommunity I'm particularly excited about this piece. It was born of a writing frenzy. One of those fits where you race to catch up with your brain to organize the chaos and wrangle it onto the page. That new poem, "Nice, Clean Margins," is out today in @OcculumJournal.
An absolute deluge of work coming this month in @ekphrasticrev, @PineCone_Review, @OcculumJournal, & @UnfortunatelyLM. The most I’ve ever seen released in such a window. And, while I know the acceptances can dry up in a blink, I want to take this moment to be grateful. #writing
