Did you know that the ocean garbage patch has caused the deaths of more than 1 million seabirds and 100,000 marine mammals each year?
Many marine animals die due accidental consumptions of plastics and entanglement.

Here are some numbers about the ocean garbage patch:
1. More than 1.8 trillion plastic pieces are in the patch.
2. The mass of the patch is estimated to be 80,000 tons.
3. The size of the patch is about twice the size of Texas.

Our ocean is filled with toxic plastics. All the marine organisms are in great danger.
