The current District Teachers of the Year and former State Teachers of the Year got together for our first book club meeting! “How To Read A Book” led us into conversation about our shared humanity, chatty parrots, and the power of a bookstore. @RIDeptEd

Today I visited Miss Maggie, the District Teacher of the Year at International Charter School! As a 3rd - 5th grade special educator Maggie coteaches and runs small groups. I saw her running a “Mission Impossible” word game complete with theme music! @RIDeptEd
