@GC__Vazquez I think DA2 actually works as a compelling personal story for Hawke but struggles when it tries to be grander in scope. I honestly would prefer is they went back to crafting a game that felt as personal as DA2 story did (but with less brain-dead gameplay pls lol)

@GC__Vazquez He had a casual fling with Isabella but only found real love with the strange elf girl he met along the way who not only helped ease his lonliness but granted him new perspective on what had actual value. I adapted my choices through the game to reflect the arc I made for him.

@Grummz I played a male character and Astarion talked about wanting to fuck men and women and both Shadowheart and Laezel make comments about wanting to fuck Karlach.... the characters didn't adapt to be attracted to my character they were all very blatantly not straight.

@sugary_senpai @crash_matrix @dragonage All of these are "realistic" to the time they were made. That was the consistent style. Dark, gritty and realistic. Not this bright colourful cartoonishness. Also the tone was always consistent, dark and gritty, and the tone of this trailer was way too lighthearted.

@GC__Vazquez It did indeed. Not only that but in Gaiden there was this whole little interaction about Kiryu talking about his brand by name which in hindsight kind of feels like a backdoor ad for that brand of cigarette. This is all speculation of course but it's the first thing I thought.
