@scottiebateman My first flight was also in a Chipmunk, as an Air Cadet (2362 The King's School Sqn), out of Filton! My most incredible flight: on G-BOAF, JFK to LHR 14 Jan 1990. By coincidence, that Concorde is now housed at Filton!

@afneil @afneil calm down, calm down. Take some blood pressure pills and/or statins..... I avoid buying Chinese goods wherever I can. Pretty easily. My new car, delivery in September, contains no Chinese parts, even the EV battery pack is 100% EU. I have never bought Apple products etc.

@DudespostingWs Aircraft doors are a "plug fit" so, as others have said/implied, due to the pressure difference, it is impossible to open a door at altitude in flight. No passenger/aircraft risk. It's just not possible.

The family day out on Saturday was capped with a superb family dinner, with great food and impeccable service, at @RedLionLongComp . What a lovely birthday cake, too! The Red Lion Long Compton should be on your list of places to dine (laugh, drink and sleep too!!).

Fantastic day out on Saturday with family at the Hawking Building depository for exhibits for the five museums including the #ScienceMuseum. Incredible collection of which we saw but a tiny part.

@piersmorgan Grow up. Neither missle reached Diego Garcia. One malfunctioned and fell well short and the other was shot down. Nowhere in UK is at any risk from Iranian missles. Period.
