Vertical storage is a great way to reduce clutter. You can use a hanging bar, hanging shelves, hooks or baskets on the side of your kitchen bench, over any door or back splashback for kitchen utensils, baskets, cutting boards or dish towels

1. Remove items off flat surfaces. The quickest way for a less cluttered look is to clear off furniture surfaces, tabletops, buffets, kitchen benches, bedside tables, etc. Put these items aside and add back the essentials you need.
