Will anything and anyone actually work in the CJS - don’t blame the security staff at all for voting to strike. They like defence sols , court staff and barristers are at the bottom of the pile for a fair wage !
Ask your MP to support our claim for fair pay for OCS staff.
Ahead of the launch of our strike ballot for members employed by OCS on the HMCTS security contract we have tabled an Early Day Motion asking for a pay rise and improved terms and conditions.

For #JusticeDay2022 today, we have a launched a new e-action to MPs to demand all govt cleaners, security guards and facilities workers are paid at least the Real Living Wage and occupational sick pay. https://t.co/mPEbuWMuWs #WeDemandBetter#RaiseUpPay#BounceBackTogether
OCS are a real living wage employer but fail to pay the real living wage to those on the HMCTS Security contract. Their offer of 27p an hour above national minimum wage is a scandal
PCS ballot opened today. Members asked to vote YES to support @pcs_union demands re Common Platform, a fundamental flawed IT system designed to cut 3000 jobs, causing misery, mayhem & unprecedented levels of stress & anxiety for our members. Time to scrap this IT garbage .
The @pcs_union Secret Legal Adviser sets out why PCS is balloting to protect safety, jobs and justice. Time to consign the Common Platform to history.

PCS understands the Senior Presiding Judge has told HMCTS no further roll out of Common Platform until it is stable for 3 weeks. Our @pcs_union members in those courts where it has been inflicted would be grateful if HMCTS could manage stable for 3 minutes & work up from there
High attendance & overwhelming support 4 @pcs_union stated position on Common Platform at members meetings this week. Member after member spoke of significant problems & overwhelming work related stress it causes. Further dates tbc Monday. CP stress advice to be issued shortly
So @grantshapps accepts by the lack of denial that he blocked a settlement of this dispute in order to attack @pcs_union & the staff in DVLA. He would rather have a fight than accept a settlement his own management negotiated. This is a full on attack on trade unions now.
PCS members employed by OCS on the HMCTS security vote to accept pay offer following a successful campaign. Victory for our OCS Members ✊
