@Yesmanyesplease@TaylorOfTheWest@ReviewsPossum whatever man. you clearly lack the theory of mind required to understand this. I'm sure if you ever find yourself in a dangerous situation you will act with perfect cool rationality and never panic whatsoever.
@Yesmanyesplease@TaylorOfTheWest@ReviewsPossum that stick probably gets stuck in that machine 20 times per day and he pulls it out no problem. if the machine jams he gets screamed at and looses job, family starves. If you can't see how something like this happens you have no empathy. nice ironic reply tho, you're very cool.
@TaylorOfTheWest@ReviewsPossum he probably didn't let go of it because the stick would have broken or jammed the machine resulting in him being reprimanded or fired.
@dustytit I will never understand what would compel someone to post this. Like why would anyone ever give a fuck? Yeah bro everyone likes Mario and gta
@airkatakana Same goes for the new warcraft 3 campaign, diablo 2 getting a new class, etc. Not a coincidence that Blizzard can suddenly remember how to maintain these ancient codebases.
@valarynn i think a lot of this materialised as the customisation options for the dracthyr . I think they where trying to find a way around adding races without needing to ensure all existing (and future) armour pieces fit properly. But people hated the dracthyr so
@DogParkSandbox It really has nothing to do with classic+. It being built on classic is incidental, they simply see it as a better host for the new monetisation strategy going forward
@DogParkSandbox forever is how they are moving wow into maintenance mode. Wowf is a product that is easier to maintain by a smaller team. โHorizontal progressionโ is the new monetisation model wherein they sell optional bolt ons instead of full expansions.
@AlefBens@quiveron_x@Jonathan_Blow In a modern game the keyboard is a quixel megascan and adding physics to the cord is checking a box in the engine. Also modelling something low poly and having it look good is absolutely not an easy thing, especially with the (lack of) tools available 20 years ago
@AlefBens@quiveron_x@Jonathan_Blow Sure, games have more assets. but the process of creating those assets now is hundreds of times simpler now then it was 20 years ago.
@NobodyIsOurGuy Should be broken out into a separate game. Survival/crafting focused fallout spinoff could work, but itโs just bloat in the mainline rpgs
@ocornut Unfortunately most other studios under Microsoft would prefer to use UE5. Execs probably didnโt see the point in paying them to maintain a custom engine
