"The Cold Otherworld"

This was a monstrosity to finish. Now I remember why I rarely ever do ink drawings of this scope. Anyway, this was inspired by the things I got to see & experience in Alaska, but more "fantasized."

Hues used with only highlighters, then edited/adjusted in Photoshop CS6. There doesn't exist a digitally painted remake, but I may consider the possibility someday. For now, enjoy this!!

I used a lot of highlighters to make the colors of this image & help it come to life. Originally, this was just a ballpoint pen drawing, on sketchbook paper. I’m repurposing these images thanks to discovering the ability to “undercolor” an artwork without ruining its rendering.
