@dominic_w Please stop calling it "self-writing". To average Joe that sounds like there's no human in the loop. Just go with the flow and call it a vibe-coding platform if you want broad adoption.
To confirm, there are now more people building on ICP / Internet Computer at any one time, than on every other blockchain in existence combined.
Caffeine ☕ is still in beta, with numerous key features still being rolled out, and marketing remains experimental. Tick tock.
@dominic_w@dominic_w you need a better slogan than “self-writing”. Even as a software dev, I had no idea what that meant. Sounds like an autonomous process that neither requires nor accepts human input. Maybe check the marketing of lovable or base44 and pay some TikTok influencers.
@dominic_w ICP was one of the first blockchains I really researched. It set the standard and skewed my perspective of what a blockchain should be. It has taken me forever to understand and accept that virtually all others are yet ANOTHER defi project at best or a useless meme at worst.
ICP is moving further towards mainstream tech and mass markets with its next website...
Yes, the Internet Computer is a uniquely powerful blockchain, but it provides extraordinary tech utility from consumer to enterprise — and that's where DFINITY 2.0 & Caffeine are taking us.
When Cloudflare went down, apps onchain on the Internet Computer continued running, however... some users experieced issues where apps used Cloudflare for DNS (domain names).
So, decision made, we're going to bring that onchain too (DNSSEC + NNS + chain key).
AWS outage. No problem.
Cloudflare outage. No problem.
All apps, websites, DeFi, enterprise services, AI models, etc, built/running on the Internet Computer — the only blockchain that hosts real apps fully onchain — continued running flawlessly
You guys know this, rigghtt ;) ?
@wangbnbwhale Adding "itself" for emphasis, as in "$BTC heading to $200,000 this year itself" is a characteristic of Indian English, making it highly unlikely this statement came from CZ.
In Cairo, we asked non-coders to build an app using Caffeine.
We had a fashion designer, financial accountant and a pharmacist share their experience of using Caffeine.
See how they got on.

Caffeine just got smarter.
Starting today, Caffeine can search the web.
Whether you're looking for an API for your weather app, or you need a code snippet from GitHub - Caffeine will automatically find it.
Web search in Caffeine means your app has the latest information right at its fingertips.
Try it for yourself now: https://t.co/0WoFd86VbL
Caffeine can now access the internet! If you need help finding a data source, a code snippet, or some design ideas, just ask - @caffeineai will look it up.
Prompt: Build me a weather dashboard for Stockholm, Sweden. First, find an open API that provides both current conditions and a 7-day forecast, then use it to create the dashboard showing today’s weather and the coming week’s outlook.
