@002_Khd@NawtsoGolden Ya it’s typical used by women due to being seen as much more neutral or softer. I went more in depth one why i believe “she/her” would’ve been used for Slur in another comment. Cursing X’s word limit for discouraging me from going more in depth from the start lol.
@NawtsoGolden I personally would just use “they”, but it was super common back then for more feminine leaning characters like Slur to just get feminine pronouns. Localizers go “ah, voiced by a woman, uses Japanese pronouns mostly used by women” and then yah.
@NawtsoGolden It’s just a theory at the end of the day tho, I’m just using common patterns. There is always a chance Capcom could request a different direction for Slur’s presentation in the west. Pronouns, possible name change, voice direction… wish we could’ve known.

@NawtsoGolden@002_Khd They use “Watashi” so it’s most likely they are genderless or would’ve had feminine pronouns had the season gotten an English release.

@almightykadim@Goldandjunk From what i remember, she just is someone obsessed with Egypt. The teachers in persona tend to be pretty wacky in some way😭 In P3, there was a teach obsessed with a specific historical era of Japan and he wore a whole samurai helmet…
