@Jorraptor To be fair, PlayStation has been subsisting of consistent quality for almost half a decade at this point. The Live Service stuff is bad, obviously, but may seem like the only route to ‘innovation’ at this stage. Think they need creatives at the heads of creative endeavours.
@DonaldA70126877@mrpyo1 It’s messed up, I just fear that Asha is going to get glazed for it soon, since this is a corporate issue. Especially when you consider that Microsoft makes too much to have to do layoffs like this, Xbox is a ridiculous entity.
@mrpyo1 Gears of War is a bit brain-rotty, but that’s a good list otherwise. Senua, Control and the new Plague Tale look great too!
Laufay is the undeniable winner though, GOW is my lifetime priority.
@geoffkeighley Bruh, Halo is coming to PS. Either way, I’d be psyched for the console wars to return. Would stymie the bigoted PS fans and give them something else to hate while PS churns out bangers. Will say, TES6 being an exclusive would be a damn shame.
I'm not even joking but if you think both state of play this week and game fest today was bad then you should stop playing games

@hasanthehun So, all the replies to the post you’ve tagged are people hating on him, and all your replies are people hating on you. Is Twitter pulling switcheroos?
@ChesterEugene@MightyKeef@AvoidTIMtation I don’t disagree, I just believe GOT had all that and more, and in a way that felt unique and ingenious. It isn’t *just* GOTY to me, it is my favourite game. It’s the GOAT to me.
@ChesterEugene@MightyKeef@AvoidTIMtation I don’t really see that as the core of the game, or the key appeal, because the majority of the time I spent in that world felt like a league of its own. Naughty Dog has great direction, and there’s an award for that, but it isn’t GOTY.
@SashSoulsmith @KirPinkFury I haven’t played many of the games on there, but from what I understand, this was a fun game that everyone who touched it enjoyed… isn’t that the point. Either way, soulslikes are okay, but sad form for GOTY.
@ChesterEugene@MightyKeef@AvoidTIMtation Infinite Wealth should’ve been nominated, though, tbf, I haven’t enjoyed one of these since 2018 (such a good year), and haven’t really been satisfied with a winner since 2019 (Control was the last solid win).
@erikaishii@SuckerPunchProd That’s f*cking insane. Props to ya, GOT is literally the GOAT, so I one hundred percent trust this’ll be brilliant. Congrats! And thanks!
@zmurc@Un4v5s8bgsVk9Xp Let’s be honest, Togashi is basically just a friend we want to keep in touch with at this point. Yeah, he’s my favourite author ever, but this is pretty nice too.
