Roy Keane says Manchester Cityโs achievements between 2009 and 2018 have become redundant ๐ฎ
City won eight trophies during that time, and have been found guilty of flouting the Premier Leagueโs rules across the nine-year period.
๐ฃ๏ธ "The minimum punishment, surely, is something that would make any club think again."
๐ธ ยฃ100m fine
๐ 80-point penalty
โ 5-year ban from playing in Europe
Man City's "disgraceful" ยฃ900m cheating sham has been revealed and their punishment must be brutal.
The events involving Manchester City over the past few days have shocked the football world.
For Chelsea, it is a powerful reminder of a fate that might have befallen them.
In 2025, the FA hit the London club with 74 charges related to alleged rule violations between 2009 and 2022.
Chelsea's new owners were proactive, helped by the fact they could point to a different regime being in place. Their deft handling meant the club were fined but there were no sporting sanctions that would affect the team on the pitch.
It could easily have been very different.

๐จ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ | Manchester City statement: "Manchester City FC is both disappointed and surprised by the opinion of the Premier League Commission, that has been published today."
"The Club is innocent of the accusations made by the Premier League and a comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence exists in support of all of its positions, relating to this case. The Club will therefore be relentless, and where necessary proactive, in any and all appropriate regulatory and legal forums."
"The Premier League process remains ongoing, with significant elements uncompleted."
"Manchester City FC will now pursue the appeal avenues open to it, on the basis that the opinion contains clear material errors, of law, principle and fact, and is unsafe."
"The Club has diligently respected due process for eight years on the basis that the Premier League Board and Executive would behave as an independent, impartial and fair-minded regulator, free from partisan influence."
"The Club is obviously restricted in what it can say further until all future proceedings are complete."
