This absolutely stunning signed and sketched book mail was exactly what I needed to come home to yesterday. (He's like a grown-up version of the one from the 1st who lives on my living room wall).
Thank you so much @chrisriddell50 ☺️💕
"This books is for you if you like books where "legendary warriors" act like little bitches at every turn. I couldn't even finish it."
-- A redditor's review of Kings of the Wyld. Also the new cover blurb.
@nkostelic I haven't had a haircut at all - professional or otherwise. Pretty sure I'm approaching the "I'm sick of it, cut it all off at home" stage now though.
@BrandonTozzo I must go at non-peak times because I have never once had to wait in a queue to vote. Our polling stations are very local to where we live. (UK). Ours is the community hall attached to our kids primary school.
It looks like our first run of Soot Sprites sold out fast! While we wait for a restock let’s give away an extra set!

@HeartBeatDice Howl's Moving Castle (closely followed by Spirited Away, though I love so many of them for different reasons) - these are gorgeous! I'll be watching for that restock!!
@matthaig1 This was my most recently finished read and i think I have needed it recently, it's beautiful, so thank you for that. Good luck with the US release. 😊
Beautiful book (and pin) mail! Double wonderfulness for my collections. 😍 The Waterstones talk was a lovely evening too.
I am looking forward to this one.

@AITA_reddit "I only play board games with women because I expect to beat them easily, then throw a tantrum because a woman I also assumed couldn't speak English actually could". GTFO.
@annalisadinn I had someone while on the counter at work (deli counter at the time) go to walk past, stop, then walk up to tell me - "wow, you have really creepy eyes!" then leave. Weird more than insulting.
Some of these are genuinely appalling.
This is the High Street in Haywards Heath, where I would go with my Mum every Saturday as a child. So this is where I decided to buy my own copy of #TheThursdayMurderClub. I was very shy as a boy, but I know I would have loved the idea of this. So this is a gift from me to him.
