A coordinated police operation in Homa Bay has netted a goon mobiliser, alongside seven individuals accused of obstructing officers as they moved to execute his arrest.

The operation unfolded at Homa Bay Bus Stage, where officers trailed down and arrested Kassim Abdi Sebo on following a warrant issued by the Homa Bay Law Courts on August 14, 2026.

But the arrest took an unexpected turn when seven men accompanying the wanted suspect allegedly attempted to obstruct the officers in the course of the operation.

The officers swiftly moved in and arrested the seven, identified as Achiando Victor Odhiambo, Isaac Masika Muliro alias Waigo, Oyeke Geoffrey Moses, Geoffrey Nchore, Odhiambo Wesley Arnold alias Mwas, Joseph Kabira, and Alfred Nyagino.

All eight suspects remain in custody undergoing processing ahead of their arraignment.
