@British_Airways flying tomorrow on a 9+ hour flight but can’t check-in or select seats as it was booked through Aer Lingus. How can I get my free seat assigned so my partner and I are sat beside each other?

@British_Airways So no BA rep can assign two free seats even though I have the PNR? The systems in office aren’t the same as online so it wouldn’t affect it

@British_Airways I have the BA PNR and it won’t let me, I can see the booking etc etc but I can’t checkin or even select seats.

I don’t mind the checkin part - I just want seats assigned beside each other.

@enterprisecares No problem - it is hard to understand whether or not a Debit card from a pillar bank in Ireland (AIB) is accepted or not as there seems to be conflicting information. Can I use a debit card if I provide travel itinerary?

If not does the credit card used need to be in my name? (It will be the passengers)

The credit card has a limit of €850 which is over €150 more than the reservation. Is this okay
