@TheMontyDon Totally Agree, any compost, peat or not has pros and cons. We have bought peat free for a few of years and we have learnt very quickly what type of plant prefers what type of peat free compost. But remember - plants never asked to be planted in peat bogs or peat compost!
@Hugh_Cassidy Refreshed the pond water and I definitely think that they are frog spawn. I was so perplexed because they were inside the greenhouse in a damp corner, I thought it was some sort of fungus at first as I have never come across frog spawn out of water π€·
@Hugh_Cassidy@TheMontyDon Thank you for replying, it was in a damp corner of my closed greenhouse. I think it is frog spawn as suggested, as we have since found a frog hiding in here. I have put the "spawn"in pond water to see what happens.
